About Richard III
by William Shakespeare

“Now is the winter of our discontent”…

Continuing its successive exploration of the history plays, The Shakespeare Project of Chicago presents this story of a ruthless warrior whose rabid desire for power knows no bounds.  Charley Sherman, who directed and co-adapted 2005’s Henry IV (and recently directed the horror classic, The Great God Pan, for his Wild Claw Theatre Company), will direct this gruesome tragedy – and Artistic Director Jeff Christian, who played the disfigured Richard of Gloucester in last season’s Henry VI, is slated to take on the titular role.
